Isambard Kingdom Brunel's magnificent Box Tunnel was the inspiration for our flagship beer. Opened in 1841, the tunnel was the final link in the railway between London and Bristol - and still serves thousands of passengers every day.
Apart from using gunpowder for blasting, thousands of navvies built the tunnel entirely by hand. We hand-craft this beer on a rather more modest scale to satisfy the navvie in you.
